A three month health assessment for cancer patients is essential for the following reasons:

Cancer treatment management involves many different types of treatment. The treatment plan evolves with the different stages of the disease.
Many medications have potential side effects which are important to check for regularly and, in some situations, prevent them.
Some medications can make unrelated diseases worse, especially if it is a new problem, so a regular health assessment can highlight problems earlier.
Cancer is often a painful disease and regular assessment of pain levels is vital to avoid a pet being in undiagnosed pain.
Doses of medication may need to change with changing body weight and stage of disease.
Leaving long periods of time between assessments gives cancer time to change, risking losing the opportunity to adapt to the disease.
Remember your pet cannot always communicate when something is wrong - a three month check is the opportunity for us to detect any changes or problems.
