Meet our Veterinary Nurse Team

Lauren RVN DipAVN

Surgical Care Manager / Veterinary Nurse

Lauren joined our team in 2013. After completing her Level 3 National Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, she qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Lauren hit the books straight away and went on to achieve an Advanced Diploma. She helps with the training of our student veterinary nurses and manages the surgical side of the practice. Lauren also has a particular interest in advanced imaging.

Lauren owns a German Short Haired Pointer Cross called Mia who loves to come to work everyday, and a family Jack Russell called Hector who loves nothing more than to sleep.

Lucy RVN

Medical Care Manager / Veterinary Nurse

Lucy joined our nursing team in August 2016 as a student nurse, and after completing her Level 3 National Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, she is now a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

Lucy enjoys all areas of nursing and is in charge of the medical care at the practice. She ensures the patients are well cared for and oversees the running of our laboratory. Lucy also acts as a clinical coach and helps to support our student nurses to qualify.

Outside of work Lucy loves finding and exploring new walks around Staffordshire with her very dapper, dapple-coated Dachshund, Oswald. Oswald loves a good belly rub and can often be found snoozing under anything long enough to cover him!

Veterinary Nurse

Amy joined us initially in 2004 whilst studying for a Diploma in Animal Care, but was soon promoted to our nursing team. Amy qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2008 and is now in a nurse management position.

Amy enjoys all aspects of her nursing role and in 2021 she achieved a diploma in Pet Bereavement counselling. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Jessica RVN

Veterinary Nurse

Jess joined the practice in August 2017 after completing her Diploma in Animal Management, and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in February 2021.

Jess has a particular interest in small furries, but loves pets of all shapes and sizes!

At home she enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking and caring for her Dalmatian and four rabbits.

Elyse RVN

Veterinary Nurse

Elyse has worked with us at Park House since 2017. Elyse started as a student Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) but has gone on to become a qualified veterinary nurse who coaches other VCAs to qualify! She has an interest in orthopaedics and physiotherapy.

Outside of work Elyse enjoys baking and spending time with her Labrador Moo.

Veterinary Nurse / Social Media

Dan joined our reception team in September 2018 with a wealth of animal care and customer service experience from both the UK and Australia.

Dan soon realised his passion was in veterinary nursing and in 2023 he qualified as a registered nurse. Dan also does a wonderful job of managing the social media for our practice alongside Katie.

At home, he lives with Sydney and Olive, both stray cats that he has rehomed from the practice.

Student Nurse / Social Media

After achieving a degree in Business Management, Katie went on to work as a client care advisor for a veterinary referral centre. She joined our VCA and reception team in 2020 but soon realised that her true vocation was to become a qualified veterinary nurse.

As well as being a member of our nursing team, Katie helps to run the social media for the practice alongside Dan. Katie loves all aspects of nursing but has a particular interest in anaesthesia and medical care. Katie has a real love for large breed dogs.

In her spare time she does a lot of fundraising and enjoys walking her two dogs, Ronnie - a Rottie cross, and Rae - a German Shepherd. Katie is also busy creating eco-friendly toys for dogs!

Student Nurse

Charlie started working at Park House vets in 2020 and came with an extended diploma in animal management. After qualifying as a veterinary care assistant, she has now enrolled to start her nurse training. Charlie is very interested in all species but guinea pigs make the top of her leaderboard!

Charlie has two dogs, Boo the Yorkshire terrier, Blossom the Chihuahua and two guinea pigs Sydney and Penelope.

Student Nurse

Georgina joined Park House Veterinary Centre after completing an Animal management course. She has gone on to pass the Veterinary Care Assistant course with distinction and is now training to become a qualified nurse. Georgina has a passion for animal welfare and enjoys caring and looking after our patients.

At home she has a Shih Tzu cross Jack Russell called Buddy and an Airedale Terrier called Ruby, who both love long walks followed by long naps. She also has two friendly chickens, Olive and Maple.
